No, never. Dovey does not send anything on your behalf and never will. It can write a first message from your brand guide and the creator's posts; you copy it and send it yourself, from your own account.
Where does the creator's location come from?
From what the creator states in their bio and captions. When you search for creators in a city, the ones who say they are somewhere else are left out, and the ones who say nothing are shown and marked as not stated. Dovey does not guess a location from an accent, a skyline or an IP address.
Which platforms does the creator search cover?
TikTok and Instagram. Not YouTube. Every number comes from public posts and profiles, refreshed when a creator is searched again after a week.
How do you know a creator's engagement?
From their last 30 posts, view based: likes, comments, shares and saves divided by views, taken as the median. Bought followers cannot flatter it. Where a platform gives no views, the follower-based rate is shown and labelled as such.
Can I export the creators?
Yes, as a CSV. Save creators to a list and export it with the handle, followers, engagement, ad experience, location and the contact on the profile.
